I graduated from Melbourne University with a MBBS
with honours in 1983 and then trained at The Royal Melbourne Hospital in general surgery before starting plastic surgical training.  I completed my training in 1991 and went overseas to Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow and Galveston, Texas for further studies.
I have appointments at The Royal Melbourne Hospital(where I am supervisor of surgical training), Royal Children’s Hospital and Box Hill Hospital where I have worked for more than 18 years.  I  also work at various private hospitals but in particular the Mercy Hospital in East Melbourne, Epworth Hospital in Box Hill and Cotham Private in Kew.

My special interest include children, particularly children with cleft and burns and adolescent girls with breast problems, head and neck cancer reconstruction and general plastic and hand surgery.
