I enjoy unhurried consultations with my patients and their support persons, providing comprehensive care and understanding of their condition and optimal management. Surgically I place a great importance on achieving optimal cosmetic outcomes in benign and malignant conditions, including breast reconstruction. I work closely with my oncological, radiation oncological and plastic surgical colleagues in a multidisciplinary environment to optimise care and outcome.
I strongly support the aims of the National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Centre and have trained as a facilitator in courses optimising patient care in difficult and confronting scenarios. I continue to educate my patients, training other surgeons, general practitioners , nursing staff and members of the community in the care of benign and malignant breast conditions.
